It’s a human relationship, not a relationship between an expert and a problem.
— Rachel Naomi Remen

Therapy resides in the collaborative relationship, and we grow in relationship with others. I provide a warm and non-judgmental space that is conducive to self-discovery. In therapy, we will work together to cultivate compassion and curiosity about your experience, leading to awareness of aspects of yourself that might have been previously unknown to you, and to meaningful transformation in areas that are important to you.

I use an integrative approach including evidence-based modalities that are proven to reduce symptoms, increase emotional and behavioral flexibility, and improve well-being. I am trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Level 1 and 2 Gottman Couples Therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and relaxation. I bring a sense of creativity and even humor in guiding people to break out of self-defeating patterns and to live more expansively.

Please contact me by phone at 206.800-6516 or email if you have questions or would like to schedule an initial 15 minute telephone consultation.
